Homemade Peanut Butter

Making peanut butter at home is the best option as it is easy to make and one doesn’t have to worry about any preservatives or additives in it. If feeling lazy, you needn’t bother skinning the peanuts. The colour and texture will be slightly different though. If you are not keen on adding oil, it’s perfectly fine as peanut itself will release oil after a while. The peanut butter I made had a mild sweetness. For a sweeter peanut butter, add more honey. If you are one of those crunchy peanut butter fan, take a handful of coarsely chopped peanuts and add to the prepared peanut butter and mix well. Next time you may want to think twice before reaching out for that peanut butter bottle at your grocery store. 🙂

I used butter and brown sugar in place of oil& honey when I made it years back….but I had to be content with licking the mixie jar as others finished it before I could try..but this seems to be a healthier version
